Features & Functionality
How does the financial management feature work?
You can manually log all band income and expenses in a clear ledger. Our unique “Advanced Costs” helps you fairly divide costs like gas and rent, and you can generate financial reports for your bookkeeping.
Can I manage different roles and permissions for my band members?
Yes, our Member & Role Management feature allows you to assign specific roles to people. You cannot change the permissions per role. So choose the correct role wisely for the correct person.
Is it possible to create a professional technical/hospitality rider and stage plot?
How does the merchandise inventory tracking work?
You can track stock levels for all your items, including different sizes (S, M, L, etc.). The system provides low-stock warnings and allows you to process sales on-site if you use our Point of Sale (POS) mode. Every morning a sync from Bandcamp or Big Cartel will be run if you have set it up, stock change from our app, will be pushed directly to the set up third party vendor.
Can the app help me plan my social media posts?
The Social Media Planner is a tool to help you organize your band’s marketing content. You can create a content calendar, plan your posts for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, and track the status of each post (e.g., Draft, Scheduled, Planned). Please note: the app is for planning and overview purposes only; it does not post content directly to your social media accounts.
Can multiple band members access and update the schedule?
How does the setlist builder work?
Our setlist builder allows you to create and organize your setlists with ease. You can add songs, arrange the order, include breaks, and the app will automatically calculate the total duration of your set. You can also add tuning notes or transition cues for each song and export in big font-size for on stage or export more details for the GEMA (Germany).
Can I store important gig details in the app?
Yes. For every gig-event, you can store essential information like the venue location, entrance fees, ticket links, and contracts. This keeps all critical gig info in one central, accessible place for the whole band.
What is the "WordPress Sync" feature?
If your band has a website built on WordPress, this feature allows you to automatically push gig dates from your Bandboss Manager calendar to your website’s event manager. This saves you from having to enter event details in two different places. For a small price you can buy the Event manager here, but there is also a free version available
Can I customize the app with my band's branding?
Yes, with every plan, you can upload your band’s logo and set custom colors to personalize the look and feel of the app, making it truly your own. There are also themes available like Black-Metal, Disco or K-Pop.
Does the app integrate with cloud storage services?
The app provides quick links to your external cloud storage folders (like Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox etc,.). This allows you to organize shortcuts to important files like press photos, logos, or audio files directly within the app for easy access.
How do payments for merchandise work? (e.g., Tikkie)
Our Point of Sale (POS) system includes payment integration. You can generate QR codes for direct payments per item, for example via Tikkie This makes selling merch at shows fast and efficient without needing a separate payment terminal. For now only for dutch bands who have a BV (a company).
Is there a dark mode available?
Yes, the app has built-in support for both Light and Dark themes. You can choose whichever mode you prefer, which is especially useful for low-light environments like backstage or in a tour van at night. There are also a few special themes available like the Black metal Theme, Disco and the K-Pop Theme.
Pricing & Plans
Do I need a credit card or other payment information available to start the 30-day Premium trial?
No. You can create your account and start using all Headliner features immediately without entering any payment details. We only ask for payment information if you decide to continue after the 30-day trial ends. If you don’t choose you go back to the Opener features.
What happens after my 30-day trial ends?
Your account automatically transitions to the Free (Opener) plan. You retain access to all core scheduling and financial tracking features. All your data stays secure. You will lose access to the Premium-only features (like QR sales and advanced reporting).
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Yes, absolutely! You can upgrade from Free (Opener) to Support or Headliner, or downgrade from Headliner to Support or to Opener, directly from your account settings at any time. Any changes will be prorated or take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Is our band's financial data secure?
What if I need a feature that isn't currently available?
Is Bandboss Manager available on all devices?
Yes, Bandboss Manager is a web-based application, meaning it’s accessible from any device with an internet connection and a modern web browser, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. No downloads required!

Is my band's financial and personal data secure?
Yes, we take data security very seriously. We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect all the information you store in the app.
Can I export my data from the app?
On which devices can I use Bandboss Manager?
Our app is designed to work across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. It can also be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for an app-like experience on your home screen.
Does the app work in different languages?
Currently, Bandboss Manager is fully localized in both English and Dutch.
Who owns the data I enter into Bandboss Manager?
You do. All the content and data you upload, from financial records to your merch, press-kit or social posts, remains 100% your property. We only act as a data processor to provide the service to you. We will never share or sell your band’s data to third parties.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
Yes, an active internet connection is required to use Bandboss Manager. This ensures that all data is synced in real-time across all devices and for all band members, so everyone is always working with the most up-to-date information.
